Tankwhale is part beast, part machine: a fully deployable, multi-modality, cybernetically enhanced combat whale. But Tankwhale has escaped, and seems hell bent on dismantling the global industrial infrastructure. This is a classic inversion tale, juxtaposing environmental fundamentalism with nihilistic militarism. It is expressed through emotive voicings, ominous tones, and staccato drum breaks. Major Loss and General Mayhem are the personnel assigned to recover the errant whale, and at the same time assess it's capabilities. Their modus operandi is a combined philosophy of committed non-attachment, and anti-rhythm. The foghorn bass blasts like a nuclear blowhole. The crunk beats hit like the blunt side of a barnacled axe, and their melodies have been known to cause emotion sickness.
